Judge Delays Trump's NY Case Sentencing Indefinitely; 2nd Storm to Hit Pacific Northwest

New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan on Friday postponed sentencing in President-elect Donald Trump’s business records case indefinitely in light of Trump's election win. Merchan also granted Trump’s request to file a motion to dismiss the case, given that his team submit paperwork by Dec. 2.

A second powerful wind storm is on track to hit the Pacific Northwest Friday, bringing strong winds and heavy rain. This is while the region is still dealing with hundreds of thousands of power outages from an earlier storm this week. 

NATO and Ukraine will hold emergency talks next Tuesday after Russia attacked a central Ukrainian city with an experimental, hypersonic ballistic missile on Thursday. Ukraine’s parliament canceled a session as security was tightened following Russia's launch of the intermediate-range Oreshnik missile.
